Polyimide Labels, Printed Circuit
Board Labels
Polyimide label material, also referred as DuPont's Kapton label material,
is used for high temperature product identification and bar code labels
because it survives the high temperatures required for printed circuit board
manufacturing, without shrinking or melting. Since polyimide label material
provides a stable base for printing on the surface, the bar code symbology
will remain consistent with ANSI standards. Polyimide label material is also
UL recognized.
Dynamic Bar Code Systems, Inc. provides a WIDE variety of sizes
of both Tan Polyimide labels, Glossy White Polyimide labels and Glossy White
Polyester labels for labeling electronic products. Polyimide
labels usually have a glossy finish, and are commonly sold in rolls of
10,000 labels. Polyimide labels require a resin thermal transfer ribbon.
Polyimide labels can withstand very harsh environments, including high heat,
sunlight, UV, etc. Polyimide labels are durable, waterproof, tear proof,
and scratch and heat resistant.
