Label Printing Software - EASYLABEL®

The Problem

A large manufacturer of electrical device boxes was looking for an updated reliable labeling software package to work with their Zebra printer.  The customer is using a preprinted label and the labeling software supplies the variable information.  Each product has its own label, totaling 150 label formats.  Furthermore the customer has an inventory of 7 different preprinted labels since each electrical device may require a different UL graphic.

The Solution

Dynamic Bar Code Systems selected EASYLABEL Gold label design software for a robust and reliable label printing solution.  Two main features of the labeling software we are using is the seamless integration between EASYLABEL and the Zebra printer.  The second feature is the database functions within EASYLABEL.  Having a database allowed us to create a single label format and populate the variable data on the label with information from the database.

The Benefit

Not only does the customer now have a more reliable labeling software package, but routine maintenance of the data records and label formats is very simple.  The customer has also experienced a large savings in not having to purchase preprinted labels.  Instead of using preprinted labels with the appropriate UL logo, the have place the graphic for each record into the database and the correct graphic is printed onto the label using the Zebra printer based on what record is being printed.
